The Gulf States Construction Company was established in 2005 in Afghanistan to provide engineering and civil construction services. Since then, GSCC rapidly expanded and positioned itself as a qualified global construction, and development company with a specific target market in Afghanistan and region.

GSCC’s growth has been extremely dynamic over the last years. With a current total workforce of 250 staff and multimillion dollar assets, the company is in a strong position to continue expanding globally.

Gulf States Construction Company manages a wide range of projects in such areas as; Military Compounds, Infrastructure, Heavy Civil Work, Power Plants and Power Transmission Lines throughout Afghanistan. Our construction department consists of professional Engineers who manage and coordinates over 45 projects with clients such as; DOS, USACE, UN and USAID.
Gulf States Construction Co. management schedules and coordinates all design, construction and quality control processes to ensure a productive and safe work environment is achieved. All GSCC Project Managers plan and systematize efforts to accomplish a successful project within the time and budget; and are often responsible for multiple projects at a time. It is due to outstanding teamwork and coordination of our departments that GSCC successfully completed challenging projects in remote areas of Afghanistan.

GSGC strives to ensure the group is a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible place to work for the staff, employees, laborer and the general public. Members of Gulf States Group of Companies must conduct operations in compliance with applicable OSHA, and local regulations, and Safety and Environment guidelines and standards. We place significant emphasis on Health and Safety. We have a Safety Management System in place with a ‘Zero Accident’ policy which engages all employees and subcontractors to actively improve HSE Performance on our project sites. In addition, we are fully committed to providing all employees with the significant training to supplement their skill set and ensure that they are capable of completing all their tasks efficiently and safely. We have +5 Health and Safety managers holding 30 Hour OSHA Certificates. We actively train managers and employees at all level and frequently provide them new training programs to supplement their skills.

Introduction:

Gulf States Construction Co. was established a decade ago and we have grown tremendously in the past decade to the point where we now stand at the top of the most successful and largest Afghan companies. GSCC now has active offices in Afghanistan and turkey and plans to expand the perimeter of its operations even further in the world thus this could have not been accomplished without the professionalism dedication and hard work of all our site work force, permanent staff and experienced management with their knowledge of international standards.
GSCC began its activities in the construction industry where we had the opportunity to work on numerous multi-million dollar design build and site adapt projects for the United State Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Provincial Rehabilitation Teams (PRTs) and other International Organization. As GSCC grew so did the area of its activities and we started working in the energy sector. We now have the experience of implementing civil engineering, and power distribution projects, since much work is still to be done in the infrastructure and energy sector and not many Afghan companies have the experience or capability to carry out such projects we have made this sector our main concentration.

Gulf States Logistics Company (GSLC) is 100% an Afghan Owned Company based in Kabul, Afghanistan & GSLC is duly registered with Afghanistan investment support agency (AISA), which retains highly qualified and experienced personnel, provides quality service for our customers, and fulfills supply requirements. As a total logistics solution provider, we offer you complete solutions through a wide range of services such as all aspects of Logistics Procurement, Transportation, Construction Material Supply Services, Warehousing, Inventory, Contracting, Operations Management, Maintenance & Cleaning Services, Surveys, Armored and Soft Skin Vehicle Sales & Services. Gulf States Logistics is specialized with strong corporate society in logistics systems which its primarily objective is to connect Afghanistan in terms of its supply & services in the region to support the hub in re-construction, rehabilitation and peace keeping mission in the country and the region, Gulf States logistics activities focuses on supply and logistics of construction and non-construction material and Services throughout the country and the region.

Transportations (Heavy Equipment & Rental Vehicles):

GSLC delivers excellence in transportation and logistics solutions. Through our vast network of independent transportation and warehouse capacity providers, we have the flexibility to meet any supply chain challenges when transporting cargos throughout the territory of Afghanistan. We provide delivery options for transit of goods from rental trucks, containerized trailers, open top containers (20” and 40”), pre-fabricated and portable containers, cars, to buses. We are also able to provide multiple truckloads. Among the cargo that we deliver are: home and office furniture of all types, computers and office supplies, office equipment, electrical appliances and military products, construction material and trucks. Typical base and equipment operations and maintenance support include procurement of supplies/material, managing construction/engineering, and subcontractor selection and monitoring, supply and warehouse operations, storage and distribution, vehicle maintenance, freight forwarding, cargo operations, facilities maintenance support.

Lease Vehicle:

GSLC provides different types of Lease Soft Skin Vehicles and Up Armored Vehicles Level B6 in various locations throughout Afghanistan.

Manpower (HR Management & Recruitments):

We provide recruitment services of the LNs and recruiting TCNs from different Third Countries and we would process MoFA, Visa and work permits for TCNs and Expats in Afghanistan. Our major services
specifically deal on the recruitment of Job Seekers to Local and International Companies including processing of their working permit & Visa. We are able to provide you quality, skilled, semi-skilled and
unskilled labor, in most areas of security, construction and miscellaneous trades. We have available on our database, an extensive portfolio of clients wishing to work in Afghanistan.

Housekeeping Services:

We provide professional Housekeeping staff and proactively manage all Housekeeping services, Equipment, Supplies, Electrical and Garden, rooms and offices. We at GSLC provide a wide range of housekeeping services like General cleaning, Carpet and upholstery cleaning, Window cleaning Office maintenance, Floor maintenance, Electrical services, Carpet maintenance services, Upholstery maintenance, Pest control services, Plumbing services and Garden maintenance services.

Warehousing Logistics:

Our warehousing and distribution facilities are strategically located to support efficient nationwide distribution. Cost effective and efficient container transportation to our warehousing facilities enables your products to be ready for distribution within the shortest possible timeframe. We provide warehousing services to include pick and pack, assembly, fulfillment, labeling, packaging, freight forwarding, shipping, and transportation management. GSLC handles all functions related to trucking and management of materials, which encompass the monitoring of material moved into and out of stockroom locations and the reconciling of inventory balances.

Construction Material and Equipment Supply:

GSLC provide wide range of materials from a single source for your metalwork needs. We also handle single projects that include a wide variety of different elements such as rails, monumental stairs, wall cladding, light fixtures, column covers and more. We also offer lease of construction equipment. Construction Services, Design & Construction of Facilities and submission of its subordinate services, including concrete works, plumbing, electrical works and concrete paving, roofing, HVAC system, mechanical works, carpentry, plastering, welding, etc. Construction of CMU & Wooden B-Huts. Construction of all types of Barriers including HESCO, Portable, Low Profile, Alaska, T-barrier, Texas, Chain-link Fence and Perimeter Walls for security and privacy. Provision of Construction Materials including gravel, cement, crushed stone, gypsum, iron beams/sheet, brick masonry, sand, etc. Heavy Equipment Lease including water truck, Fuel truck, roller, excavator, loader, backhoe, bulldozer, etc.

Operation Management

We carefully manage the processes of distribution products and services. Activities carried by GSLC include managing purchases, inventory control, quality control, storage, logistics and evaluations.

Logistics Engineering:

We deal with the application of engineering methods to solve logistics problems. These methods serve to speed up production and shipping without detracting from the quality of a product. Our experts offer capabilities in mechanical design, procurement, process safety, and contractor support. We possess both the skills and experience to assist in every phase of project implementation, from evaluation for funding to detail design.
